Dear Neocron fan,
once upon a time (or perhaps just yesterday) you filled out the Beta
application form for our upcoming MMORPG Neocron on
www.neocron.com. Well,
the day is drawing near where we will once again send out Beta CDs to
interested people. If you want to be among these people, please read on and
learn how to tell us that you want to get in. Be forwarned though:
THIS SIGNUP PROCESS FOR NEOCRON BETA WILL ONLY BE IN EFFECT UNTIL 10:00 AM
(GMT) ON AUGUST 14th 2001!
1)
Open up your webbrowser and surf to
http://www.neocron.com/betaconfirm/confirm_beta.php .
A browser window will open asking you for a username and password. Enter
"betaconfirm" and as password "********" (both case-sensisitive and both
without the "").

You will reach the Beta Confirmation page. If you don't although you
supplied the correct login information, the server may be busy. We really
don't know how well the hardware will handle the process, but since this
email was 'only' sent to about 2000 people, it should work out fine. If it
doesn't, try to sign up again later, possibly during work hours if you are
in North America. It's not a "first come, first served" process, as long as
you make the above mentioned deadline you will take part in the Betatest.

Now you have to enter your name, address and working email address.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THIS STEP:
- Be sure to enter your first and last name EXACTLY as you did when you last
applied for Beta on
www.neocron.com. CASE DOESN'T MATTER, but everything
else does. If you enter it wrong you can always go back to the confirmation
page and try again though.
- DOUBLECHECK everything you enter. The information you submit will not be
altered manually by us or by the script which processes it, so filling out
the form is pretty much like writing your own address label for the envelope
which will contain your Beta CD and account information.
- Please be sure to provide us with a WORKING EMAIL ADDRESS. As soon as you
have entered the Beta you will be put on our Betatesters mailing list via
which we will notify you of important things concerning the Betatest, so be
sure you provide us with an email address which you check often and which is
unlikely to change in the near future.
Of course we assure you that we will handle the information you submit with
the utmost care and that it will only be used by us for working with you
during the Betatest. See the privacy statement on the confirmation page.
3)
As soon as you have submitted your information and get the "Thank you"
message, you will not be able to submit info with the same first & last name
again. Should for some weird reason your record in our database be marked
with "has registered" although you are sure that you haven't, please
understand that we can't change it. Even if it's entirely not your fault
(net connection broke while registering etc.), it's not ours either and we
want to make sure that only those who applied for Beta get in and that no
one gets the chance to register more than once.
We hope that everything goes well and that we will soon be able to welcome
you into the community of Neocron Betatesters.

ff op internet rondgekeken en er zijn blijkbaar een boel mensen die ook wel zouden willen betatesten) en nu krijg ik binnenkort mn CD opgestuurd, maar nu vraag ik mijzelf af: Zijn er hier mensen die al eerder aan het betatesten zijn. Want als ik kijk op www.neocron.com lijkt het me wel een vet spel maar ik vraag me dus af of dit ook echt zo is?
