Ogg Vorbis Release Candidate 2 is out! Go to www.vorbis.com for all the downloads! The new RC2 encoder release brings us new modes (64,80,96kbps), bugfixes, channel coupling and more. All stereo modes are using one type of channel coupling. Higher modes use less aggressive channel coupling. For more info on what\'s new in this release go here. This RC2 release was done a bit prematurely because there\'s an article about Vorbis coming out today in Wall Street Journal, so RC had to be ready for today. That\'s why there are some options missing in the encoder (for example, the option to choose what kind of channel coupling we want to use). This will have to wait for another release. New releases should happen more often now that we have all the features meant for v1.0. Either way, this RC2 version is another big step in quality for Vorbis, especially in the lower bitrate section. Enjoy!
