Hello to everyone! I am building a new PC and bought almost everything except for the CPU. I am looking for Ryzen 3700\3800x. The used ryzen 3800x costs ~250 euro. Do you guys think that I will able to buy 3700x for ~220 euro on black Friday and ~250 euro for 3800x on black Friday? Or it is better to buy this one and not to wait for black Friday deals?

I would not buy anything atm and I would wait for the soon-to-be-released next gen. Ryzens.
Don't buy anything now that you might regret because it will be "obsolete" (soon... in three days).
Regardless of what the prices of current gen. will be on Black Friday (wait / just go for next gen.).

If you can afford to wait, wait. The 5950x could kick the prices of previous models down a bit.

Do you think that 3700x will not be a good value for ~220 euros compared to 3600x? Of course, if prices would go down accordingly.HugoBoss1985 schreef op maandag 2 november 2020 @ 16:38:

The 3600x is overpriced, even the 3600 has gone up to about €190... I paid €165 for one about 2 months ago!
I feel like an eight core is a far better investment right now, over a six core, for a long term build.
Even if the newer six core has higher ipc.

I'd set a price alert in the price watch for every AMD CPU you're interested in. Prices could go up 'n down so don't miss out.
