Games instant crashen via steam

Mijn vraag
Ik heb redelijk recent een nieuwe computer in elkaar gezet, en kon hier top op gamen. Nu heb ik alleen bij twee spellen, portal 2 en payday 2, dat ze instant crashen als ik op play druk in steam. Portal krijgt een zwart scherm voor twee seconden en sluit dan af, payday krijgt een half balkje en sluit dan af. Ik heb echt super veel geprobeerd maar ook steam support kan mij niet verder helpen. Ik hoop dat jullie iets weten want baal hier wel echt van.

Relevante software en hardware die ik gebruik:

CPU Ryzen 5 3600
GPU RX 5700
16GB 3600 MHz RAM
SSD 500GB
HDD 2TB
MSI Mortar Max

Windows 10 Home x64
Windows defender

Wat ik al gevonden of geprobeerd heb
- verify game files
- Gecheckt voor updates op alle fronten
- compatibility troubleshooter (windows 7 en 8 doen het ook niet)
- run as administrator
- verwijderen en weer installeren van de games
- Verwijderen en weer installeren van steam
- offline/online trick
- anti-virus tijdig uitzetten


Ik weet echt niet wat ik verder nog kan doen. Ik heb hierbij ook de crashlogs van beide games. Ik snap daar zelf weinig van in alle eerlijkheid maar misschien weet iemand hier het wel.

Andere zware games draaien dus goed?
Probeer een de vorige driver van je videokaart te installeren.

gedaan, hij zegt dat het corrupte files heeft gecorrigeerd maar de games gaan nog steeds niet aan. Wel bedankt voor het artikel, zal hier meer uit proberen.

Weet jij toevallig bij punt 4 welke .exe programma's ik moet selecteren? de games staan er niet tussen

Niet goed gelezen, bij Steam moet je in het mapje common kijken daar staan je games.

Als ik zoek op "he thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access" dan zie ik diverse sites die vaak een gezamelijk issue hebben. Vaak betreft het een driver of corrupte dll file.

Dus zijn al je drivers up2date? (Video, Chipset, geluid, LAN etc)
Is Windows Up2date? (Inclusief de laatste October 2020 update)?
Steam up2date?

En herhaal sfc/scannow totdat hij geen issues meer vind. Vaak komen er nog andere corrupted files naar boven nadat je al een keer gescanned hebt.

Herhaal deze 3x ofzo en eventueel nog met een chkdsk /r /f commando om je hdd te scannen op fouten.

Als dat allemaal niet helpt, dan zou ik bijna denken aan een herinstallatie van Windows.

Ahh, al mijn drivers zijn up to date, en m'n windows en steam ook. Ik heb het nu meerdere keren gescand maar fixed nog steeds niet.

Wat is belangrijk bij het herinstalleren? Zijn er files die ik kwijt kan raken of iets dergelijks? Iid bedankt voor reageren!
