Spotify connect met meerdere accounts

Hallo,

We hebben in ons huis een mediacenter computer in de woonkamer staan die op de versterker is aangesloten. Hierop draait de Spotify Windows app welke we bedienen met Spotify connect.

Nu ben ik zonet overgeschakeld van een 1 account Spotify naar zo'n family Spotify account (6 accounts), zodat ieder familielid zijn eigen muziek smaak kan "ontwikkelen". Maar blijkbaar ondersteund Spotify dit niet en zijn ze zelfs niet van plan om dit ooit te ondersteunen:

Het lijkt mij echter onwaarschijnlijk dat hier geen workaround voor mogelijk is. En ipv het wiel opnieuw uit te vinden, leek het me wel handig dit even hier te vragen...

Ik dacht dan bv aan:
* meerdere profielen / users aanmaken in Windows met op iedere profiel de Spotify app geinstalleerd met een ander account aangemeld.

of als dit lastig is omdat je dan telkens moet wisselen van account (= geen optie)

* meerdere Windows (of Linux?) VMs draaien met daarin telkens de Spotify app geinstalleerd met een ander account aangemeld.

Heeft iemand dit reeds geprobeerd?

Wij hebben ook family en op de Sonos ben ik ingelogged maar op het moment dat mijn vrouw spotify start op haar mobiel kan ze gewoon op de Sonos afspelen, jij hebt dus volgens mij niet echt connect maar remote control op deze manier. Als ik bijvoorbeeld Spotify op m'n MacBook start dan werkt het niet, dat komt omdat het de app is en niet de spotify connect service. Ik heb geen idee of dat voor Windows te regelen is eigenlijk.

• Download and install the Spotify Windows app and pog in with 1 account (profile1)

• Download and install the Vivaldi browser
  https://vivaldi.com/
• Browse to the Spotify Web Player in Vivaldi and log in with the other account (profile2)
  https://open.spotify.com
• Right click the tab and choose "Install Spotify" to create a "Progressive Web App" (PWA) from this website. This step is required to avoid having to refresh the Spotify website manually after each reboot.
  
• Rename

De meest simpele oplossing is om gewoon een Chromecast (audio) of ander device met Spotify connect ondersteuning aan je versterker te hangen. Iedereen die op je wifi zit kan dan zijn eigen muziekjes afspelen.

Dat is voor anderen idd misschien een eenvoudigere oplossing, maar jammer genoeg niet voor mij.

Ik heb nl actieve (audiofiele) speakers met slechts 1 SPDIF ingang en die hangt aan het mediacenter

Heb trouwens net nog een betere / nettere oplossing gevonden...

Als je in Vivaldi een profiel maakt per Spotify profiel en daarin dan een PWA maakt van de Spotify Web Player, dan kan je oneindig veel Spotify profielen gebruiken op eenzelfde toestel en hoef je de Spotify Windows app zelfs niet te installeren...
