can i put my computers in my refridge?

sorry about the english but i know nothing else

can i use my refridge for my computers since i only keep pizza and beer in there? is there a problem with that? it is very hot here now and my 1.2ghz athlon keeps beeping at me:(

and it wouldn't be good for your computer anyway just buy some extra ventilators, that works for both you and your pc

If you know the coolingcapacity of your fridge, and compare it with the heatproduction of your Athlon (80 Watts ?) you might get an idea wether cooling will be sufficient or not. If you're really serious : Put some aluminum fins on the cooling side inside of your fridge to increase heat exchange with the air inside the fridge. But chances are your beer will get warm .

Putting your PC in your refrigerator should not be a problem. All the components should work at a temperature of -40 till +80 degrees celcius. Near the edges of these temps you might experience some instability of your system, but it won't break down.
Nevetheless I do think it is better to mount extra cooling fans or buy an airco.

On the stuff in my fridge there is always a lot of condense, don't think you want that (water) on your mainboard..

i supose i could look into water cooling but the refridge is there... and not doing much... and cheap

it is running aournd 54* celcius but it peeps after a few days (alarm that i have not figured how to shut off <asus MB>)

the fridge has a huge problem: it will produce 'ripe' and condence, other words for water that will totally destroy your system if it isn't properly insulated.

kidding us about the refridge you mean? no actually. i do not use air conditioning in my house, not that i am too cheap just energy minded. it is 90*f in my house 24/7 right now but i love it. my computers (5 in all) do not like it. i figured if i turned the fridgeup to 50* the computers would work fine (i would only put two in there).

if you are talking about cars, i do performance chip upgrades here in the US for a company based in Austria www.upsolute.com .

the refridge was just an idea that sounds to good and easy to be true:) the computers run at 130*f but i know that they might ran faster and live longer if they where a bit cooler. thanks for the input and i might just go looking for a different internal cooling system .
