low gpu usage while gaming

hey. when i play games such as gta5 and battlefield 5 i have low fps (below 75 which is my refresh rate) and when i play gta i have around 20% gpu usage but my fps rarely comes above 40. and i have this issue for about a month now so i would really like it fixed.


gpu: rtx 2060 6gb vram
cpu: amd ryzen 5 2600
ram: 16gb g.skill trident z 32mhz
psu: 450 watt psu
hdd: 1tb 7200rpm hdd
ssd:500gb ssd
mot: b450 mortar

i have the nvidia geforce experience so my gpu drivers are up to date. i have recently updated my bios driver.
