Game PC €1000-1200 (future proof)

Wat wil je doen met je nieuwe systeem?
After 10 years, We are looking to get a new gaming PC for the house. We recently got a Samsung C34H890 ultra-wide and now we need a PC to match. I mostly play Total War and Stellaris. My sons play a lot of LoL and Fortnite. I would like another PC that can last many years with the occasional easy upgrade. My old PC made it through the years with just the addition of SSD, lots of mem and a replaced powersupply, but the video card can no longer handle requirements and it is pointless to upgrade it

Wat mag het systeem gaan kosten?
The PC should cost e1000-1200. I was aiming for 1K, but when I looked at the parts with the best reviews, came out closer to1200 (and looking at suppliers that won't take forever)

Wat denk je allemaal nodig te hebben?
I came up with a list of possible components, see below.

Heb je nog bepaalde (merk)voorkeuren?

Heb je nog bepaalde eisen/wensen?
Quiet, high quality, future proof. I would like another 10 year PC

Ga je overklokken?
I would like the option to overclock later if we need the extra performance

Wat verwacht je van ons?
I need my part list sanity checked to see that they really will all work together and if there might be cheaper alternatives with the same quality

If you've waited for over 10 years, I would advise to wait a few months more for the next generation of graphic cards and AMD CPU's. It's a bit of a shame to buy a 5700xt now, when there's a 50+ more powerful GPU in a few months for the same price.

As Peter says, it's advised to wait a couple more months for new cpu's, gpu's and even mobo's (next month), and I would also advise you to start looking at g.skill or crucial ram, which is a lot better reliable with ryzen, in comparison to corsair.

If you only want to game, you can tune down the psu to 500-550w.

Thanks for the all the advice. I appreciate the warning to wait, but I plan to spend lots of time home this Summer, so I wanted something now. For those who might be interested, here was my final choices. About e100 over my original budget. Assembly was not too bad and worked first time. PASSMARK: 6971
