Gaming PC for 2k, 144hz

Hello dear Tweakers!
I'm planning to buy a PC for home, that would be used for home stuff, work and gaming 50/50. My budget is ~1800-2000.

Home usage would include video editing (amateur, GO pro style videos from vacation, non-professional), programming and other less demanding stuff.

Gaming - 2k, non-competitive gaming. I'd like it to handle 144hz just not to be an outsider =)

I'm Intel guy, well, that's just a fact.

What I want from PC:
- it should work
- be moderately quiet

What I don't want and not planning to do:
- overclock anything, except setting XMP profile for the memory
- I don't want to have too much illumination
- I won't be sad if instead of 130fps I'll get 120 because of my hardware

Comments from my list:
- 9700f - as I don't want to overclock and I'll have external video card, why pay extra for 9700K?

Doubts:
- watercooling - seems like this stuff is more or less stable and doesn't break a lot, but I have zero experience and hope installation wouldn't be that hard

Questions to those, who know much more than me:
1) memory - is one that I've chosen fine?
2) is selected power supply fine?
3) should I select a regular fan instead of watercooling?

Intel fan of niet, met Ryzen doe je domweg een betere koop.

Een budget waterkoeler is nooit een goed idee en zeker die van CM niet. De Masterliquid is luid en heeft een vrij slechte pomp. Beter een goede luchtkoeler voor dat geld.

@MAX3400 thanks for your reply. Do you have any suggestions for the regular fan that would work for my set up?

@MAX3400 I wanted to add something to protect from electricity spikes (and this UPS has good reviews). Apartment where I live has some problems with sockets (I recently caused an electricity shut down just by plugging my laptop charger, followed by a flash). So protecting 1800 purchase seems like a must in my case.

@D-dark thanks for your suggestion! TDP for i7-9700f is 65W. Would it be reasonable to opt out for a smaller cooler, like https://tweakers.net/pric...-rock-slim/specificaties/ (TDP 180W)?

@fredddy Waarom niet. Al zou ik dan voor de Scythe gaan. Die is een stuk stiller dan de Dark Rock slim.

@D-dark I changed the cooler to suggested Scythe in my list. It looks massive but if it's quiet, then it's gonna serve it's purpose.

If there is a chance you can give your opinion on memory and power supply, I'd appreciate that. Anyway, thanks for your help!

De koeler is behoorlijk groot maar moet passen. Je houd 20 mm over qua ruimte.
145,5 hoog en in je kast past 165.

Qua geheugen ga je voor een Intel processor en die is minder veeleisend dan de AMD Ryzen's
De Ripjaws zijn goed geprijsd en zullen werken. Wil je iets nieuwer geheugen dan kan je gaan voor: pricewatch: Crucial Ballistix Sport AT BLS2K16G4D32AEST

Wat betreft je voeding zou je kunnen kijken naar de pricewatch: Seasonic Focus GX-650 Redelijk recente voeding welke goed uit de reviews komt.
