Commandos behind enemy lines werkt niet

Goedemorgen,

Vorig jaar heb ik via steam de game commandos behind the enemy lines gekocht. 1 van de beste games die ik in mijn jeugd gespeeld heb. Deze kreeg ik uiteindelijk aan de praat, ik moest de naam van de toepassing veranderen en doorlinken.

Nu wilde ik een maandje geleden deze game weer spelen. Nu start de game wel op maar ik krijg een zwart scherm, ik hoor wel het geluid. Ik heb al veel rond gezocht, maar ik kan nergens een (werkende) oplossing vinden. Heeft iemand een idee wat dit kan zijn?

Ik gebruik windows 10 64 bits. Ik heb de game in compabilteitsmodus windows xp staan (ik heb alle andere versies ook geprobeerd).

Draaide je eerder exact hetzelfde OS? Of heb je in de tussentijd updates geinstalleerd?

Als ik even google krijg ik volgende suggesties, heb je die al geprobeerd?

FOUND A FIX.
First right click the game and click on properties
click that tab that says Local files
next click Browse local files
once done right click Comandos.exe and select properties
then click the Compatibility tab
check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and make sure thats selected
now change windows 8 to windows 95
click apply and load the game.
once loaded you will get a black screen
you will hear the intro play while its playing click on the black box and press esc
now you should here the menu select screen music.
hold Alt and press Enter on your keyboard witch will take it to full screen and enjoy
the game can not be played in windows mode unless you find a way to run it in Fullscreen windowed mode.

it exit fullscreen mode Press and hold Alt + Enter again.

In the control panel hd graphics (intel or nvidia) try to turn off the smooth edges. It works for me.

modify the .exe to run on W98/ME compatibility. Check to run in 256 colours and check to run in lower screen resolution. It fixed it for me. Screen and sound are there with no freezes.
