Hello,
Does anybody know how the following this is possible: on my old phone (s8) i used a lot of data by internetting with my samsung browser. Youtube, facebook, everything went through it so a monthly 5 gb of data was no exception. New samsung (s10), same story. After the december update, the samsung browser didn't start. I deleted the app and visited the galaxy store to installed the browser again. Works fine.
But..the new browser uses a lot less. About 600 mb a month by frequently internetting, again with Youtube and Facebook. Not much. And no problem you should say, but I want to know how this is possible. Could any app or malware be responsible for a high front use of data in the samsung app? Or can it be that android has some kind of problems with measuring data from the new app. Must say that there is allso a big gap between my overall data use and the sum of data all apps use. The gap is about the size of what I expect the new samsung browser should use. So maybe the answer should be in that gap?
Thanx
