Ik heb de Guilemot 3D Prophet, 32Mb,AGP, nVidia GeForce, oem en nou vroeg ik af of ik dvd kan afspelen als ik alleen een dvd-rom koop en dus geen kaart erbij

Yep .. de GeForce heeft 'gedeeltelijke' hardware acceleratie voor MPEG2 (Motion Compensation) dus da moet gewoon lukken (als je een beetje snelle CPU hebt) ...
