Wie weet waar ik deze kan vinden? Ik zoek me helemaal scheel maar kom alleen op sites met vage manuals waar ik geen ene nix van snap....

In die manual kom ik deze regel tegen:
To run the daemons from inetd, place the following lines in the inetd configuration file, /etc/inetd.conf:
die file heb ik niet.... moet ik die dan gewoon aanmaken??? ik heb wel de map init.d
En weer ff verderop staat dit:
Then restart the inetd daemon by running the command:
kill -HUP `cat /var/run/inetd.pid`
Ook bovenstaande inetd.pid kan ik niet vinden

Dus om xinetd te herstarten moet je "kill -HUP `pidof /var/run/xinetd.pid` " gebruiken. De configuratiebestanden (wat een woord
)staan in /etc/xinetd.d/*
