Hai!

Na aanleiding van een aantal cs topics ben ik steeds meer geintereseerd geraakt in global ops. Ik heb ff zitte zoeken en ben het volgende tegengekomen:

What is Global Warfare?

Global Warfare is a Team Based Multi-Player Half-Life Modification. That means if you have Sierra's Half-Life game then you can download and install Global Warfare and play it!


How do you play Global Warfare?

There are several ways to "win" in the game. The most basic way to win is to destroy the enemies' transport (usually a blackhawk helicopter or an APC) and then kill the remaining troops on the ground. The other ways to win depend on the particular map itself. Some mission objectives are to call in airstrikes, destroy buildings or radio relays or bridges, and others involve capturing/rescuing civilians or officials. See the manual for more info.

When will it be done?

Beta 1.0 Official went gold June 8, 2001!



This is called Global Warfare, what's with all the desert maps?

Global Warfare has a campaign system,where all the maps link together. Each team starts off with 4 maps under their control. The two teams battle it out at the start map, which neither controls, and the winning team gains control, plus moves into the opposite teams territory. Once a team has all the maps they win the campaign.

The reason that beta1 has all desert maps is because, it starts off with the desert campaign, set in the middle east. The desert campaign has locations in six different countries, plus the teams are made up of several different countries, i.e. the U.N.

Each full beta will add a new campaign. Beta2 will add a winter campaign, set in europe.

Ziet er toch niet zo mooi uit als CS. Hoe is de gameplay? Want ik heb veel mulitplayershooters gespeeld, maar in CS is de gameplay zo goed.

Ehm je bent geintereseerd in Global operations en je zoekt naar de mod global warfare... die er al lang is en wat shit is?

Vierkante LOOK.

ik heb wel mooiere rondingen gezien in spelen.

Volgens mij is het wel een vet spel.
Ik ga het ook wel proberen Later dan

Er is echt geen hol aan die mod en het heeft ook niks met CS te maken.
