Stutters in games what part do i need to upgrade?

Hi, i have a problem for a while now where I have stutters when playing i think cpu intensive games f.e. gta 5 i dont know if its software or hardware related if its hardware related i would like to know what hardware i was thinking it could be the ram or cpu. i would like to upgrade the part which is at fault i first thought the problem was the cpu but a couple of friends said it isnt the cpu.so now i think it could be the ram i dont really know at this point

RAM: 2x4GB DDR4 2133mhz
MOBO: MSI B150m
GPU: aorus GTX 1060 6gb
