Hi,
I'm hosting a small website on a Windows pc on my cable connection. My provider (@home) secured the subnet and won't allow servers. So I did the following: host my webpage on port 83 and told my friends(windows) who have the same gateway to make a batch file wich adds my pc to the routing table (ex: route add 11.11.11.11 22.22.22.22)

Now for the Imac: Already tried for the Imac: make a hosts file and add the routes (ex: 11.11.11.11 A 22.22.22.22) And then select the hosts file in tcp/ip properties. But this doesn't work, any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Berry

Well, as far as I know there is no Apple tool to manipulate the routing tables of the Open Transport implementation. The only thing that's "user configurable" is the default gateway.

Maybe you could ask some of your friends to acts as gateway for you ;)
