Hi,
I'm hosting a small website on a Windows pc on my cable connection. My provider (@home) secured the subnet and won't allow servers. So I did the following: host my webpage on port 83 and told my friends(windows) who have the same gateway to make a batch file wich adds my pc to the routing table (ex: route add 11.11.11.11 22.22.22.22)
Now for the Imac: Already tried for the Imac: make a hosts file and add the routes (ex: 11.11.11.11 A 22.22.22.22) And then select the hosts file in tcp/ip properties. But this doesn't work, any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Berry
