Hoe kom ik van die Google Chrome ballen/iconen af !

Hallo allemaal, Waar ik mij al jaren aan stoor zijn die ronde 4 kleurige Chrome iconen (snelkoppelingen) op mijn bureau blad. Ik zoek al een tijdje naar oplossingen maar kan niet echt een duidelijk antwoord vinden. Ik wil gewoon het logootje of icoontje van de desbetreffende site op mijn bureaublad zien/hebben zodat ik die snel kan herkennen en aanklikken. Ik moet me nu steeds door een heleboel ballen heen worstelen. Wie o wie?
Ik gebruik Windows 7 64Bit.

Here's How:

1. Right click or press and hold on the .lnk or .url shortcut file, and click/tap on Properties.

2. Click/tap on either the Shortcut tab for a .lnk file or the Web Document tab for a .url shortcut, and click/tap on the Change Icon button. (see screenshots below)

3. Click/tap on Browse, navigate to and select the .ico, .icl, .exe, or .dll file that contains the icon you want to use, click/tap on Open, select the icon, and click/tap on OK. (see screenshots below)

Most of the default icons used by Windows 10, are located in the files below.
C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll
C:\Windows\System32\shell32.dll

4. Click/tap on OK to apply. (see screenshots below step 2)

Hoi, Bedankt maar ik werk met Windows 7 64Bit versie. Heb het net aangepast.

Dit had ik natuurlijk allemaal al gedaan. Ik wil gewoon als ik en snelkoppeling maak van bijv. Tweakers.net, het icoontje van Tweakers op mijn bureaublad i.p.v. dat gekleurde Chrome balletje.

Je zou dus willen dat Windows de favicon gebruikt bijv. bij het maken van een snelkoppeling/bookmark:

Visit the page you want the shortcut to go to, click and hold on the site's favicon, drag it to the desktop, and release. Windows will create a shortcut using the favicon supplied by the website — or the default browser icon, if the site doesn't provide one.

Als dat laatste het geval is, zal je de tipvan @sypie moeten volgen. Dus een shortcut c.q bookmark op je desktop plaatsen--> rechtermuisknop oo de shortcut-->properties--> en daar in één van de tabbladden kan je het icoon aanpassen.

Dit is inderdaad zoals ik het ook doe.
Alleen vreemd genoeg is de snelkoppeling naar Tweakers bij mij in Chrome de enige die dus niet Tweakers opent maar iedere keer weer de homepage van Chrome

Selecteer in het Chrome menu 'Meer hulpprogramma's' -> 'Snelle link maken'...

Dan werkt het met het favicon van de site!
