RedHat 7.1 C-compiler probleem.

Bij de install van verschillende applicaties krijg ik de volgende melding.

wie kent het, en wie weet wat ik er tegen kan doen ?? :

Dat mag ik hopen van wel voor je...

Kijk eens naar bestanden die libc.a of lic.so heten en waar ze staan ("locate libc.so" en "locate libc.a").... Kijk ook naar je LD_LIBRARY_PATH ("echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH") om te kijken welke dirs standaard worden meegecompileerd...

Kan iemand hier een FAQ van maken ? Dit is het 'ik heb geen glibc-devel geinstalleerd' probleem.

Je mist glibc-devel

Ik heb even gekeken op
/pub/redhat/linux/7.1/en/os/i386/SRPMS
bij ftp.redhat.com
aan daar staat geen glibc-devel.
hoe moet ik daar aan komen?
(ben theezeefje even aan het helpen)

/pub/redhat/linux/7.1/en/os/i386/SRPMS
bij ftp.redhat.com

Omdat de SRPMS directory alleen sources bevat. glibc-devel, glibc en glibc-profile worden alle 3 uit glibc-xxx.src.rpm gegenereerd.

De binary staat in /pub/redhat/linux/7.1/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS

50% van de compile problemen zijn het niet hebben van *-devel packages. Op zich reden genoeg voor een FAQ zou ik zeggen, maar ja, ik ben geen mod
