Toucam Pro onder win2k werkt niet!!!

Mijn vraag is als volgt:

Als ik mijn Toucam Pro onder win2k probeer te installleren gaat alles goed tot dat Vcheck begint te lopen want dan krijg ik deze melding: "Due to the protection of Windows 2000 VCheck can't install the camera. Please delete the camera manually with the DeviceManager and run VCheck again."

Ook nadat ik de software manual heb verwijdert.

Weet iemand hier een oplossing voor????

P.s. Ik heb de search gebruikt maar kon geen antwoord vinden.

Je moet de software niet alleen verwijderen, ook de camera zelf met "Add/remove hardware" in het control panel.

Probleem had ik ook, volgende mailtje gekregen van support:

This error message comes up when the camera has been plugged into the computer prior to running the installation program or when there are traces of another USB device that hasn't been properly installed. To avoid the error message, please act as follows:

1. Unplug the camera.
2. Select "Start/Settings/Control Panel" to open "Control Panel" window.
3. Start "Add/Remove Hardware" in "Control Panel" window.
4. Press "Next" in the "Welcome to Add/Remove Hardware Wizard" window.
5. Select "Uninstall/Unplug a device" in the "Choose a Hardware Task" window and press Next.
6. Select "Uninstall a device" in the "Choose a Removal Task" window and press Next.
7. Select "Show hidden devices" in the "Installed Devices on Your Computer" window.
8. Scroll through the devices list to select "USB Composite Device" in the "Installed Devices on Your Computer" window and press Next.
9. Select "Yes, I want to uninstall this device" in the "Uninstall a Device" window and press Next.
10. Press Finish in the "Completing the Add/Remove Hardware Wizard" window.
11. Repeat items 3 till 10 to remove "Philips VGA Digital Camera; Video" and "USB Audio Device". All other "unknown devices" can also be removed.

Now you are ready to reinstall the camera and you should not get the error message
anymore.

Ik zou alleen niet die laatste stap doen, "All other "unknown devices" can also be removed", daar ging het bij mij een beetje fout.

Kopieer deze teskt en print hem ff uit, voor als je weer eens problemen hebt.
