It's official , the release date for Lock On: Modern Air Combat has been postponed to February 2002. Here's the official word:
"Just prior to the E3 Trade Show, Matt and I asked that the product be moved to a Q1 2002 [February 2002 - Ed] release because we just don't have enough time to put in all the features in the current design under the current schedule. The choice was to either significantly cut features or move the date. We moved the date. Neither of us make formal announcements about release dates until we are sure that we have a chance to hit the announced date. Until this product is in final Beta, I will not be comfortable discussing exact release dates. Because the new scheduled date was approved, the Press got the word and you know the rest of the story."
