Aansluiten Netgear WAC104 access point

Hallo, Wie kan mij informatie geven of tips hoe ik mijn Netgear WAC104 accesspoint kan configureren.
ik wil deze er bij plaatsen vanwege de wifi kwaliteit op zolder.
Ik zou via ip adres 192-168.0.100 verbinding meten maken maar wat ik ook probeer het lukt niet.

Mijn netwerk is als volgt opgebouwd:
Vanaf de glasvezelverbinding loopt er een kabel naar mijn Sitecom WLR4004 router. Hierop heb ik wifi en er loopt een kabel naar een TP-link-sg105 switch hier is een pc en een tv op aangesloten.
Via een kabel heb ik WAC104 accesspoint aan de switch verbonden.

Volgens de handleiding zou ik de PC een vast ip adres moeten geven, 192.168.0.210 sub net 255.255.255.0 begrijp ik???
Dit heb ik gedaan via voor de ethernetverbinding ( internet protocol versie 4)
Via de web browser is 192.168.0.100 krijg ik geen connectie.
Bij ping 192.168.0.100 krijg ik destination host unreachable.
Ook bovenstaande geprobeerd met de firewall uit werkt niet.

Ik had verwacht dat het eenvoudig zou zijn maar zit nu met mijn handen in het haar. Graag duidelijk omschrijven want netwerken zijn toch niet helemaal mijn ding.

The access point functions as a WiFi access point and LAN switch for Internet access but does not provide routing services such as NAT and does not include a DHCP server. Basically, the access point functions as a bridge between your existing router and the access point’s LAN and WiFi clients, which receive an IP address from or through the router.
The easiest way to set up and start using the access point is to connect it to your router. If your network includes an independent DHCP server, connect the access point to a switch or hub that is connected to the DHCP server.

Dus: sluit de AP aan op je router, en kijk in de router wat voor IP adres hij heeft uitgedeeld aan de AP. Desnoods even AP uit en weer aanzetten. De PC moet op automatisch verkrijgen IP staan etc...

Op de AP staat waarschijnlijk een MAC adres. (of op de doos). Zoek dat MAC op in de tabel van je router. De getallen hoeven niet exact 100% overeen te komen, als de eerst 8 cijfers / letters maar overeen komen.

Bv:

op het apparaat zie je:

00:22:61:BE:31:66

En in de router zie je:

00:22:61:BE:24:72


Dat is OK, en naast dat MAC moet een IP staan.

Ga naar dat IP met je browser, en dan moet het werken.
