iMac Noise internal Speakers

Hi guys, since I have briefly used an headphone on my iMac 27" (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) it seems with every signal sent to the internal speakers a noise (similar to an out of tune FM radio) is sent with it. Strangely this sound continues even when the original sound already stopped or when I turn off the speakers via keyboard during for example music (music disappears, noise continues). After 5-30 seconds (random) after the signal to the speakers stops the noise disappears.

When using the headphones again I do not hear this noise, which (to me) means it is not in the signal sent. Since the noise also stops after a few seconds its hard for me to imagine the speakers are (suddenly) damaged. I have not uses loud volumes at all anyway.

I have not found any similar issue on different forums, so I hope anybody of this forum has an idea what could cause this annoying error. (I have aso made a recording to clarify, but I see I am not allowed to upload any attachments here..)

macOS is the latest one. I refreshed the RAM (improved the situation a bit it seems, but problem still exists)

Hoi iMaccy, welkom op GoT

Zoals je wellicht hebt gemerkt is de voertaal hier op GoT Nederlands. Alleen bij uitzondering mag je in het Engels berichten plaatsen, maar dan moet je op z'n minst Nederlands kunnen lezen (wat je zo te zien kunt).

Het vriendelijke verzoek dan ook om voortaan in het Nederlands te schrijven, of anders kun je contact opnemen met mij via DM waarom je in het Engels zou willen posten

Hi iMaccy,

Komt de storing uit een speaker of uit beide? Zoals het er nu naar uit ziet lijkt het aan de aansturing van het logic board te liggen en niet aan de software (maar je kan altijd nog een betrouwbare externe opstart gebruiken mocht je dit bij de hand hebben). Het slimste is om de machine langs te brengen bij een Apple service provider in de buurt. Die kunnen ook gelijk de software uitsluiten.

Mocht je de aankoopnota nog hebben kunnen zij zelfs nog een poging doen om garantie claimen voor je bij Apple mits er geen vocht, val of stootschade is en er geen derde partij aan gerommeld heeft. Apple zelf wilt dit vaak alleen doen als de machine ook bij Apple is gekocht.

Mocht dit niet helpen dan kan je het best langs een Apple Certified Repair center gaan. Tip van flip, Apple zelf is goedkoper met repareren buiten garantie maar je moet soms lang wachten voordat je een afspraak kan inplannen met ze.
