[T-Mobile Thuis DSL] FritzBox gebruiken

Hello everybody!

Sorry for writing in english, but I live in NL since 2017 and all I can do in dutch is order een grrot frit & een frikandel! ;-)

My provider at home ist T-Mobile (it was vodafone first, but changed to T-Mobile).
My router is a Huawei HG659.
I want to replace it an use a FritzBox.

Now I have several questions.

1. is there any manual how to connect a FB to a dutch-house-telephone connection?
2. do I need acces data like username an password? I never got any of these from vodafone /t-mobile.
3. is there any special how to configure a FB in NL?

T-mobile doesn't release their SIP settings, so it's not possible to configure this in the FB.
With cheapconnect etc.. it's possible to setup VOIP in the FB

Hi,

Can you send me your's settings for sip in FritzBox?
I have my own sip account, have always working with telfort, and now I'm on t-mobile and the sip account can't connect.
What do I wrong?

It seems t-mobile reserves port 5060 for their own Voip-service, so you need to use an alternative port.
I don't have T-mobile, but XS4ALL. XS4ALL doesn't reserve this port..

The Fritzbox works with profiles.

It’s possible the FritzOS has a profile for your Fritzbox but i’ve never checked.

I’d recommend contacting AVM. In my experience their support isn’t bad and pretty quick. Just ask if they have a profile for T-mobile. If so it will be a piece of cake to set it up. If not it will take some tweaking
