This gaming Laptop has a 1070 with 2 mini DP out + 1 HDMI out ;
what exact (convertor) cables do i need in order to have surround gaming (pref 60hz).

I have 3 LG monitors with only DVI inputs (and old VGA) .
Previously they were connected to a GTX 980 on PC (1 HDMI convertor to dvi + 1 normal DP to DVI + 1 DVI to DVI
, i had the issue of the 3th DVI convertor cable that had to be ACTIVE (expensive) in order to work in surround.

I don't want to have the same mismatch cable purchase again ;-)

Yep, that should be enough.

I don't think your laptop can support more than 2 monitors on DVI/HDMI without going active.
I presume you already have 1 active DP-adapter from your old setup, so go for:
1: HDMI-DVI
2: DP-DVI (passive)
3: DP-DVI (active)

This is under the assumption, the resolution of each monitor is 1920x1200 or less.

Indeed 3 Full Hd monitors;

Old setup had the DP to DVI with active convertor and a normal DP to DVI cable & a simple HDMI cable.
So 2 new 'simple' mini-DP to DP with the old active convertor would do the trick ?
