MacBook valt op random momenten uit

Hallo,

Mijn MacBook Pro valt sinds deze voormiddag met regelmaat uit (soms na 1 minuut, soms na 10 minuten).

Als ik dan op de aan/uit-knop duw start hij meteen zonder probleem weer op.
Hij vertoont dan 10 seconden het zwarte scherm met witte Apple-logo en wit balkje eronder.



Weet er iemand wat ik hieraan kan doen?

Ik vind 675 laad cycli al redelijk op leeftijd waardoor niet direct meetbare problemen mogelijk kunnen zijn.

Gebeurd het uitvallen ook als de Macbook aan de lader hangt?
En als je alle energiebesparing instellingen uitzet voor zowel accu als adapter, heb je dan verschil?

Installeer coconut battery om de actuele status van je accu te bepalen. Met de system profiler kom je niet zo mega ver

Maar goed, welk model Mac hebben we het hier over?

Ik zou inderdaad een progje zoals Coconut Battery installeren en eens dieper in de gezondheid van de batterij kijken. Daarnaast zou ik er rekening mee houden dat de accu vervangen moet worden.

Wat ik eens heb gehad was een kapotte temperatuursensor van het moederbord (MBP 2008), of in ieder geval de soldeerverbinding ervan. Af en toe registreerde het dan onmogelijke temperaturen (max/min) waardoor het systeem resette. Wellicht ook even naar alle temperaturen kijken.

Temperatuur wil wel eens een issue zijn. Ga even na of er stof in je fans zitten. Schoonmaken wil nog wel eens helpen. Als interne onderdelen 100 graden worden stopt de MBP er(gelukkig) mee.

Zoals Joon al aangeeft; kijk even in de logs of je daar een oorzaak uit kunt halen.

Anders, als daar niets tastbaars uitkomt, laten controleren/fixen door Apple (dan wel de officiële weg)?

Eens opstarten met de "D" vast. Runt een stresstestje voor je hardware.

Ik heb hetzelfde probleem. Ook een macbook uit mid 2014, retina. 15 inch, 2.2 Ghz intel core I7. met een Iris pro videokaart.

De problemen begonnen toen ik medio 2017 mijn scherm liet vervangen (ontploffende pixels). Niet lang erna ging de laptop spontaan uit: het kreng ging op zwart met wat licht erachter en toetsen ook licht. De ventilator ruist hard en dan gaat 'ie uit. Opstarten gaat prima.

De regel op de prompt zoals Joon hierboven suggereert geeft als shutdown cause: -128 (wat kan wijzen op het geheugen)

Ik heb van alles gedaan en laten doen:
- fresh install, upgrade naar Sierra. Geen verschil.
- de case is vervangen (geen idee wat dit zou kunnen helpen). Dat hielp een maand en toen ging het weer mis. Eerst een x per maand. Daarna steeds vaker. Op onverwachte momenten. Soms als ik er alleen maar naar keek!
- deze week is het moederbord vervangen (had fouten volgens het repaircentre). De zelfde avond is de mac 2x spontaan uit gegaan.

De laptop hangt aan de oplader als ik ermee werk. Wel een nieuwe oplader (zelfde model) van de macstore.
Ik was bezig met GIMP om een foto te bewerken (low res) en er stond een programma open om drukwerk te maken. Toch basic stuff voor deze machine zou ik zeggen. Hij werd wel wat warm, maar dat wordt 'ie altijd.

Ik ben nu toch ten einde raad. Wat kan nog worden vervangen? Moet ik maar een nieuwe kopen? En weer 2000,- down the drain?

Een paar tests die je kunt proberen:
- Temperatuursensors uitlezen met iStats ofzo
- CPU temperatuur checken met Intel power gadget
- Accu loshalen: hij werkt dan erg traag, maar als hij dan niet meer uitvalt is het een poging waard om de accu te (laten) vervangen.

Verder zou je afhankelijk van de aankoopdatum van je laptop misschien nog wat kunnen proberen met garantie/consumentenrecht.

Het zou kunnen (zeiden ze) dat het nieuwe moederboard DOA was. Maar heel veel vertrouwen heb ik er nu niet meer in.Dit is nu al de 3e keer dat 'ie daar ligt met hetzelfde euvel. Ik heb sterk het idee dat "we" iets over het hoofd zien dat niet goed zit. ik begin nu voor het eerst te denken om maar om een vervangend exemplaar te vragen. Of uit dit forum moet een briljant idee komen natuurlijk

Ik heb afgelopen weekend hetzelfde probleem gehad met mijn macbook pro 15" mid 2014.
Twee dagen zoet geweest met dit probleem maar uiteindelijk wel opgelost.

Ik heb deze stappen gevolgd:

1) reboot with CMD+R pressed.

2) open Terminal

3) sudo csrutil disable

4) reboot in normal mode

5) sudo mv /System/Library/Extensions/AppleThunderboltNHI.kext

/System/Library/Extensions/AppleThunderboltNHI.kext.BAK

6) reboot with CMD+R pressed

7) csrutil enable

reboot and forget about problem

Solution has been taken from one of the forums. That's personally helped me with my mid14 macbook pro Retina 15

Sinds ik dit heb gedaan is mijn macbook niet meer uitgevallen (draait nu alweer 4 dagen als een zonnetje).

Wellicht dat je er nog iets aan hebt als je niet al een nieuwe hebt gekocht .

Maar waarom zou je je Thunderbolt poorten uitzetten?

En het omzeilen van SIP is ook niet bepaald aan te bevelen... Ik vind het nogal een random stap om zomaar uit te voeren zonder te weten wat de oorzaak van het probleem is.

Feit blijft dat ik na deze stappen uitgevoerd te hebben een werkende macbook heb en daarvoor een macbook die onbruikbaar was. Als @Jeroenimoes een andere oplossing weet hoor ik het graag!

Anders kan iemand met ditzelfde probleem kiezen tussen een onbruikbare macbook of deze stappen volgen en het beste hopen. Veel verlies je er niet mee in mijn ogen.

Als je nog garantie of consumentenrecht hebt, moet het worden opgelost.

Als je op een schoon systeem, zonder aangesloten apparaten, panics or random uitvallers hebt, is het hardware. Als je hem sowieso al drie keer hebt laten repareren, neem eens contact op met Apple.Wie weetwat zij nog voor je kunnen doen.

Als je er echt niet uitkomt, en je wordt niet meer geholpen, dan ga je eerst zoeken naar panics logs. Een belangrijke regel heeft ie al gevonden. Daarmee internet op, kijken wat er aan scheelt en dan eventueel specifiek zaken uitzetten (zoals thunderbolt in jouw geval).

Edit: ik heb Istats geïnstalleerd en die laat perfect een temperatuurs piek zien. Op zowel de CPU als GPU als batterij.

-128 is hardwarematig falen, er zijn truukjes zoals je thunderbolt poorten uitzetten (die ik niet uit mn hoofd weet) die effect zouden kunnen hebben maar het komt er op neer dat je logicboard wel kapot blijft in dit geval.

Ben je met het trackpad bezig wanneer die uitvalt? In een hoop modellen zijn de trackpad en de smc zo verbonden dat de trackpad de smc kan resetten

Soms ben ik daar inderdaad wel mee bezig of een bericht aan het typen, maar ook valt hij spontaan uit als ik niet eens bij het macbook aanwezig ben.
Wat wel opvalt, bij minder dan 56% accuspanning valt hij eerder uit en als hij warm begint te worden.

Lijkt me dat je last hebt van hardware bug mbt c2 states etc.

Deze tool werkt voor velen, ik vermoed dat deze problemen bij veel macbook pro gebruikers zijn gekomen vanaf macos sierra..

Ik heb afgelopen weekend hetzelfde probleem gehad met mijn macbook pro 15" mid 2014.
Twee dagen zoet geweest met dit probleem maar uiteindelijk wel opgelost.

Ik heb deze stappen gevolgd:

1) reboot with CMD+R pressed.

2) open Terminal

3) sudo csrutil disable

4) reboot in normal mode

5) sudo mv /System/Library/Extensions/AppleThunderboltNHI.kext

/System/Library/Extensions/AppleThunderboltNHI.kext.BAK

6) reboot with CMD+R pressed

7) csrutil enable

reboot and forget about problem

Solution has been taken from one of the forums. That's personally helped me with my mid14 macbook pro Retina 15

Sinds ik dit heb gedaan is mijn macbook niet meer uitgevallen (draait nu alweer 4 dagen als een zonnetje).

Wellicht dat je er nog iets aan hebt als je niet al een nieuwe hebt gekocht .
