Hi Guys!

I have a problem with my system, it won’t power up at all, I do hope you can help me.

The components are:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte ga-ab350-Gaming 3 ATX (BIOS version Unknown)
- RAM: Ballistix Sport LT DDR4 2666 UDIMM (2x 8gb) Modelnumber: BLS2C8G4D26BFSEK
- CPU: Ryzen 5 1600x
- CPU Cooler: MSI Core Frozr l
- GPU: Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 1506 zt-p10600 a-10L 6 GB (mini)
- HDD: Samsung MZ-N5E500BW 850 EVO Internal SSD, 500 GB, SATA III, 6 GB/s, M.2
- PSU: Seasonic Prime Focus modular (80 + Gold) 550 watt
- Case: Phanteks Eclipse p400S MIDI-Tower, tempered Glass

Things I’ve tried:

- I have checked the PSU, it works 100%.
- Connected the ‘blue USB3 front panel cable’ and it actually charges my phone via the Front USB slot. So there seems to be power.
- Tried using only 1 RAM module , and tried different slots.
- Tried without HDD
- Tried without GPU

Whenever I push the Power Button on the case. The PC will not start at all. No beeps, no spinning of fans, No LED , nothing.

Could it be a compatibility issue? I found on the Gigabyte support website the Motherboard needs at least F6 version of the BIOS to use the Ryzen 1600X processor. But to be honest, as I can't boot. I can not check the version. So I'm not sure this is the issue.

Maybe you guys have an idea?

Any help is appreciated.

Check the front panel connectors? If your motherboard is powered and it doesn't spin up the fans you could still try to connect a speaker and/or see if it gives error codes if your motherboard has a display for that.

It sounds like the on/off switch might not be (correctly) connected to the motherboard. Cross reference it with the manual of your motherboard.

I think your power button might just be plugged onto the wrong pins.

Check your front pannel connectors first ,I also think this is the problem.
