Ben sinds kort een trotse bezitter van een Viewsonic PF790 19” monitor. Echter als ik een lichte achtergrond heb, dan zijn er twee zeer irritante horizontale lijnen op het beeld. Viewsonic zegt er dit over:

This is a property inherent to this type of CRT. Damper wires are required to maintain the aperture grille's alignment and will cast a shadow on the screen. In most applications these lines will blend into the background, but they will be visible against lightly-colored screens. They are thinner than human hair.
Ja, het is wel dunner dan haar, maar blijft irritant. Heeft iemand met een Viewsonic monitor hetzelfde probleem, of is mij geval een uitzondering.
