De snelheid van mijn webshop laat te wensen over. Ik denk dat het door de combinatie van wordpress + plug-ins komt. Daardoor ben ik gaan kijken naar caching via W3 Total Cache (plug-in) i.c.m. .htaccess optimalisatie.

Alleen... ik zie door de bomen het bos niet meer. Mijn vraag is of jullie als guru's een kijkje kunnen nemen om zo te zien of dit beter kan. Onderstaand de inhoud van het .htaccess bestand (minus een hele lijst aan 301 redirects).

Zit het performance probleem in je backend of frontend? Vaak zit 70% in je front-end, veroorzaakt door bijvoorbeeld afbeeldingen van 1024*768 (https://steigerhouten-meu...1105-1-e1505133991687.jpg) die als 370*277 worden getoond ;)

Heb je alle Google Pagespeed tips al eens bekeken en aangepakt? Wat zijn je laadtijden in Google Analytics? Ik zie alleen al 13 scripts ingeladen worden die allemaal na elkaar ingeladen moeten worden. Kan dat niet in 1 of 2?

De laadtijd word zeker ook beïnvloed door het aantal geïnstalleerd plugins / de acties die ze uitvoeren per page load etc.

Probeer anders eens te kijken of er gekke tijden uit de timings komen:

WPML actief? Die vertraagt enorm veel.
Daarnaast zou ik nginx aanbevelen ipv. apache, gaat veel vlotter.

De ajax fragments is de webwinkel die opgehaald wordt door een post, daar kun je niet veel aan doen.

Schakel wp-cron uit en gebruik crontab in linux als alternatief ( dan wordt het niet elke pagina uitgevoerd)

Kijk eens individueel of bepaalde plugins uitschakelen een groot gevolg kan hebben.
De afbeeldingen resizen is alvast een goeie tip, alles minifien kan je ook nog proberen.
