Ik heb pas een paar cdr's gekocht die het formaat van een creditcard hebben maar nu wil mijn brander die cd's niet pakken.
Ik heb in plextor8220. wanneer ik de cd plaats gaat er een led knipperen verder nix.

There is an error at the servo unit of the writing head.
This is a hardware error of the writer. Possible causes:
- Overburning: If you overburn a CD-R, it will be written in non-specified ranges of the CD. Of course, the coating is not as "good" there. (is het niet)
- Defective medium:
On the medium the track isn't prestamped correctly. This could be caused by a damaged blank (scratches, fingerprints). When using "no-name" blanks there are some blanks with the wrong coating, sometimes you can even see "holes" with the naked eye!
It could just be that your writer doesn't "like" this kind of blanks, it would be best to try some other blanks!(mogelijk)
- Writer overheated:
In general, the higher the temperature, the worse the focussing of the laser. If the writer is internal, please see to it that the writer has adequate ventilation! Most writers work up to 40°C, in a tower normally it will be hotter - particulary when using high-performance hard discs. Just touch your writer to feel how hot it is. - Vibrations:
Often the cause for this error are vibrations, e.g. transferred by a nearby fast CD-Rom. This causes the write-head of the writer to swing, such that the track following is disturbed. If possible, don't install the writer near to the CD-Rom; if necessary, suspend the drive dampedly or install it externally.(is het niet)
- Misalignment/fatigue of the laser:
Unfortunately the laser of a writer"fatigues" in time, also the head misaligns (and with it the focussing of the laser) in time.
In this case, unfortunately, you should think about buying a new CD-Writer!
However, often it is possible still to burn at lower speeds!(ook niet)
- Drivers of other programs:
Unfortunately some other burning programs install drivers that don't behave"neutrally" in the system, but send commands to the writer that can "confuse" the writer.
Please call at the menu "Extras" the "System Diagnosis" to check the configuration of your system! (is het ook niet)
