PCIe Lanes voor Mining

Hoop dat ik de topic in het juiste sub-forum heb gezet, zo niet zie ik graag een schopje tegemoet

Ik heb nu een Mining Rig van 6 kaarten, deze porten heb ik nu in gebruik:
1x PCIe x4
4x PCIe x1
1x M2 > riser > PCIe x1

Aangesloten op dit moederbord: pricewatch: Gigabyte GA-Z170-Gaming K3

Daar zit ook nog een PCIe x16 slot op, kan ik die ook nog gebruiken voor een 7de kaart?
Ik ben niet zo thuis in de Gen1, Gen2, Gen3 namelijk. Volgens mij staat de BIOS nu ingesteld op Gen2.

Op de website van Gigabyte staat dit:

1. 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x16 (PCIEX16)
   * For optimum performance, if only one PCI Express graphics card is to be installed, be sure to install it in the PCIEX16 slot.
2. 1 x PCI Express x16 slot, running at x4 (PCIEX4)
   * The PCIEX4 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIEX1_3 slot. When the PCIEX1_3 slot is populated, the PCIEX4 slot will operate at up to x2 mode.
3. 4 x PCI Express x1 slots
   (All of the PCI Express slots conform to PCI Express 3.0 standard.)

Dit kan ik vinden over Gen1 en Gen2:
PCI Express 1.0 (PCIe Gen 1)
x1 = 250 MB/s (0.5 GB/s duplex)
x4 = 1.0 GB/s (2.0 GB/s duplex)
x8 = 2.0 GB/s (4.0 GB/s duplex)
x16 = 4.0 GB/s (8.0 GB/s duplex)

PCI Express 2.0 (PCIe Gen 2)
x1 = 0.5 GB/s (1.0 GB/s duplex)
x4 = 2.0 GB/s (4.0 GB/s duplex)
x8 = 4.0 GB/s (8.0 GB/s duplex)
x16 = 8.0 GB/s (16.0 GB/s duplex)

Lijkt me duidelijk toch?
Als je alle 6 de slots vult heb je:
- PCI-e 3.0 x16
- PCI-e 3.0 x2
- PCI-e 3.0 x1
- PCI-e 3.0 x1
- PCI-e 3.0 x1
- PCI-e 3.0 x1
(of in 2.0 mode als je dat hebt ingesteld)

Voor zover ik in de manual kan zien deelt die alleen PCI-e lanes met de SATA poorten

De M2 lanes komen uit de PCH (voorheen bekend als chipset), niet van de CPU, dus dat maakt niet echt uit. Je hebt wel bandbreedteverlies door in PCIe 2.0 mode te draaien.
