Ik zou eventjes op dit topic reageren omdat ik nu iets meer dan 2 jaar geleden dit project gebaked heb.

Ik heb dus de Superchager 1 series.

Eventjes een kort verhaaltje/ervaring over het verloop:

Ergens begin april 2017 dit project ondersteund en betaald. In het begin bijna wekelijkse updates, daarna 1x per maand, daarna nog maar wanneer er belangrijk nieuws was. Heel veel achterstand opgelopen in het assemblage-en testing proces.

Uiteindelijk zag ik meer en meer mensen zich afvragen wanneer we de watches eindelijk gingen krijgen maar ik had de hoop na 2 jaar dan maar opgegeven en eigenlijk de watch vergeten.

Maar vorige maand ineens een mail met tracking dat de watch opgestuurd was. Na een paar weken bij de douane gelegen te hebben mocht ik em vorige week gaan afhalen op het postkantoor. En daar kreeg ik te horen dat ik nog eens 72€ mocht betalen voor import kosten.

Los hiervan de bevindingen van de watch:
- kwaliteit dat ze hoog in het vaandel dragen is niet echt direct terug te vinden in de watch, het lijkt toch alleszins niet zo.
- de watch maakt een schrapend geluid om energie op te wekken als je je arm beweegt
- het notificatielampje geeft een serieus licht.. je valt op..
- de app is wat gedateerd ondertussen en krijgt weinig updates
- gaandeweg heb proces hebben ze de ATM verlaagd (very sneaky en niet gecommuniceerd) en is niet meer waterdicht, douchen ofzo lukt NIET
- opladen gebeurd door de 2 contactpunten van de watch exact op de 2 contactpunten van de oplader te leggen en dus heel erg friemelen en onderhevig aan fouten
- HR monitor registreert niet echt frequent tov hun eerdere belofte constant
- Customer service na aankoop is barslecht. Geen of heel trage respons op mails
- wanneer er issues zijn moet je de watch opsturen naar China. Kosten zijn voor jou en de reparatietijd enorm lang
- ook is de repsons op vragen bij issues etc.. bijna nihil
- ... er zijn zo nog wel een aantal zaken..


Ik zou dus iedereen afraden om te investeren in dit product wegens bovenstaande issues.

Uiteindelijk een mail gestuurd en hier hun reply:

Dear Sequent,

I am making contact after finally receiving my SC1 Transparent 500 Limited Edition smartwatch.

I would firstly like to say that after waiting 27 months for the product, how very disappointed I am!
The supplied watch is not as advertised/promised and is not fit for the purpose it was purchased for?!!

Let me explain:

- The watch is much fatter than promised and the noise from the supercharger is ridiculous on the wrist.
- It requires to be charged and does not hold 'Infinite Power'.
- The glass is weak and scratches easily!
- There is no GPS tracking.
- The APP is almost useless with very minimalistic info and is not been updated.
- Straps are fraying after a couple of week usage.
- The activity tracker is not accurate or reliable compared to my iWatch
- The actual watch keeps seizing so you cant even tell the time on it, yet alone use any of the promised functions?!
- The seizure of the watch means that you have to drain the battery which takes days, meaning it is unusable and if you actually manage to get the watch to re-connect to your phone nothing actually works!
- The fact that you have started selling the SC2 before ironing out all of the SC1 issues is a complete disgrace and a kick in the teeth to all SC1 backers.

Have you actually read all the comments on Kickstarter to see how poor this watch is and the fact that it just does not work?
Due to all of these issues, I am requesting a full refund on my pledge as the item received is NOT what was promised on the Kickstarter project and the watch supplied is completely not fit for purpose?

The mechanical sound is perfectly fine. Sequent watch needs to have a big weight in order to be able to capture enough energy to power the smart features.


We are sorry. We are improving our app so the feature of notification, sending data to iOs or Android as well as sport mode will be available in a few weeks. (The sport mode should work but we know there are some problems). We appreciate your patience.


Please understand that it is not possible to refund the money, we have used the collected funds for ordering parts already.
