Budget €700 Audio Workstation

Sorry for using English but I'm not quite proficient at writing in Nederlands (kan wel prima lezen)

Wat wil je doen met je nieuwe systeem?
Primary function will be that of music production via Ableton Live. Will also be investing in Native Instrument's Komplete. Gaming might be an option in the future but for now I need base graphics.

Wat mag het systeem gaan kosten?
Don't want to go higher than 700 euro. That leaves wiggle room for a decent soundcard.

Zijn er componenten of randapparatuur die je al hebt en mee wil nemen naar je nieuwe systeem?
Nothing. Just a 8 year old low range toshiba laptop that I can barely even surf with.

Wat denk je allemaal nodig te hebben?

I've been a fan of AMD for a long time and am really happy with the hype surrounding ryzen. I'm ready to adopt.


Ga je overklokken?
Maybe. I like to tinker.

Wat verwacht je van ons?
I'm really hoping there's someone here with recent experience with ryzen and a DAW setup. Maybe someone would recommend the 1600 for the core increase? Let me know!

I did see that while I was making my list! I suppose this topic is a bit redundant then. Either way it might help someone with a mid-range budget coming it. Thanks for the heads up!
