Deafault gateaway niet beschikbaar

Mijn vraag
Het lukt mij niet in te loggen op mijn netgear acces point wn604.

Wat ik al gevonden of geprobeerd heb
factory reset gedaan alleen wanneer ik het gateaway IP te achterhalen lukt dit niet.
hieronder uitslag van /ipconfig zo als te zien is default gateaway leeg.

Je krijgt helemaal geen IP toegewezen over wifi.

Dat IP heeft windows zelf verzonnen , dat gebeurt als er geen DHCP beschikbaar is. Kun je niets mee.

En bekabeld ben je ook niet verbonden. Ik zou zeggen steek er eerst eens een LAN kabeltje in, en kijk dan verder.

Kijk eens op pagina 12 van de gebruikershandleiding, staat precies beschreven wat je moet doen om op de configuratie webpagina te komen.

Verder wat valkenier al aangaf is dat als je een 169.254.x.x adres krijgt dat er dan geen dhcp server is gevonden. Deze staat volgens de handleiding ook standaard uit. Indien je al een router in het netwerk hebt, laat de dhcp server in de wn604 uit.

bedankt voor de snelle reacties wanneer ik mijn accespont aansluit op mijn router krijg ik gateaway IP van mijn router.
wil inloggen op mijn accespoint om het te beveiligen. al ga ik via mijn router naar dhcp lukt het mij niet om in te loggen op mijn accespoint.
en valkenier wanneer ik bekabeld aan mijn accespoint zit staat er ook geen gateaway

Pagina 12 van de handleiding is anders heel duidelijk:

Log In to the Access Point
The access point is set, by default, with the IP address of 192.168.0.100 with DHCP disabled.
 To log in to the access point:
1. Prepare a computer with an Ethernet adapter.
a. If this computer is part of your network, record its TCP/IP configuration settings.
b. Configure the computer with a static IP address of 192.168.0.210 and 255.255.255.0
for the subnet mask.
2. Connect an Ethernet cable from the access point to the computer.
3. Power up the access point.
a. Connect the power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet.
b. Make sure that the Power On/Off button on the rear panel is in the On position
(pressed in).
4. Verify the following:
• The Power LED is on.
• The LAN LED is on for the LAN port that is connected to your powered-on computer.
• The WiFi LED is blinking.
5. Launch a web browser and enter http://192.168.0.100 in the address field. You are
prompted to log in:
6. Type admin in the User name field and password in the Password field, both in lower-case
letters, and click Login.

Standaard staat DHCP uit, je moet dus je computer handmatig een IP-adres geven, en een kabel in computer en dat ding steken. zie hierbove. Als je dit niet snapt kun je er beter iemand bij halen.

Of hetzelfde IP als je Gateway. dat maakt in dit stadium nog niet veel uit.

Stap 1 is de belangrijkste stap in dit geval: verbind de computer/laptop direct met een UTP-kabel aan je accesspoint. Dus niets er tussen...

Geef dat ding een reset zodat je alle fabrieksinstellingen weer hebt. Zorg dat de juiste netwerkverbinding het IP-adres krijgt uit stap 1. Daarna moet het werken (tenzij het standaard IP-adres van het accesspoint niet klopt).

De PC moet niet staan op automatisch IP toewijzen, want er is geen DHCP actief.
Handmatig doen.

Configure the computer with a static IP address of 192.168.0.210 and 255.255.255.0 subnet mask.

Vul voor DNS en gateway maar 192.168.0.100 in.

Gateway en dns kan je gewoon leeg laten, deze hebben in dit geval functie.

Nadat je het AP hebt geconfigureerd wel weer even de dhcp client van je computer aan zetten.
Voor je eigen gemak geef je het AP een ip adres in het subnet van je netwerk. Dan kan je er altijd bij zonder al die ip configuratie stappen. Dus als je een ip reeks hebt van 192.168.1.x / 255.255.255.0 en je router (gateway) heeft een ip adres van 192.168.1.254, dan kan je bijvoorbeeld 192.168.1.253 gebruiken voor je AP
