thunderbird probs

can anybody help me. i got a thunderbird
750 with a asus a7v mobo, geforce2 v7700,
128mb 133mhz, soundblaster live 1024,
30,7gb ata66 hdd. It's crashes all the time.
I don't really know what bios settings i have
to use. The cpu warms itself up to 63/65
degrees. What should i do? Does somebody
know how to configure this thing?

first of all check your cooler. There is a verry big change that it isn't connecting to the core proparly, use therm. past as well.

I have a Duron 700 that ran at 52*C because of this, after I redid the cooler it was 37*C

It's also posible that you need a better powersuply +/- 300 watt

i'm already using a 300 watt supply and
and i connected the fan propperly, i
build a extra cooling fan on it so i it's
double cooled the only thing i didn't try
is removing that blue plastic thing from
the heat sink, because i don't if it's a cushen or it's thermal paste beneath it.

Just try and see for your selve... If you can pull it off very easy, it only was a protective layer for the actual cool paste..

Nee zn engels is ook niet zo best

wel lache altijd dat boerenklompen engels hier

Dat plastic can er af 100% zeker.
Dan wordt de temp ook wat lager als het goed is

Heb je al gekeken of je geen irq gedeeld/conflicten hebt ? En de nieuwste drivers downloaden kan ook nooit kwaad, zeker voor de sb live die had ook problemen met de PIII. En als je toch bezig bent een nieuwe bios voor je moederboard, en dan zijn we toch al weer een leuk end op weg

uhm je bedoelt toch dat plastijie dat ooop diem cooler zit? (ik heb een cooolermaster en er zat ook nog thermal tape onder daar zat dus een dingetje over zorg wel voor dat dat diungetje eraf is...

Die BIOS erin flashen scheelde 5 graden en met dat plastic dingetje eraf gaat ie naar de 43 graden, heb ik van em gehoord daarnet dus dat scheelt al. Nou ga ik em zondag helpen met meer te coolen enzo en dan moet ie nog koeler worden zodat we kunnen gaan overklokken
