Ondertiitels in Handbrake

Het lukt me niet om met Handbranke ondertitels te krijgen.

Volgens de handleiding moet het zo:

"In order to select this track, HandBrake can scan the source for subtitles that appear only 10% (or less) of the time in addition to scanning for the presence of any forced subtitles.

To enable this functionality within the HandBrake user interface, from the “Subtitles” tab select the “Foreign Audio Search (Bitmap)” option from the “Track” dropdown menu and click the “Forced” Checkbox.

If you do not get a foreign section only subtitle track in your output file, then you may have to manually find and select the correct subtitle track from the “Track” dropdown menu."

Al mijn subtiles (van DVD-titels) zijn ingebakken, geen SRT-files. Ik selecteer idd van de subtitle track de “Foreign Audio Search (Bitmap)”. Ik heb het eerst gebrpobeerd met de “Foreign Audio Search (Bitmap)” optie, toen dat niet lukte heb ik daar "Nederlands VobSub" ingevuld. Maar nog werkt het niet.

Dan staat er nog "If you do not get a foreign section only subtitle track in your output file, then you may have to manually find and select the correct subtitle track from the “Track” dropdown menu." Is dit niet hetzelfde als het kiezen van het invullen van het Nederlandse VobSub menu? En zo nee, verder kan ik "track menu"vinden (wel een ädd track menu). Daar heb ik al van alles geprobeerd, maar het lukt me niet om ondertitels toe te voegen.

Wie weet hoe ik ondertitels van DVD's kan toevoegen met Handbraken? Dank!

Heb je hierbij ook de optie burn-in toegevoegd? Anders werkt het niet is mijn ervaring..

Het staat momenteel niet op mijn pc dus ik probeer maar even uit het hoofd. Wanneer je converteert naar bijv. mkv kun je meerdere ondertitels toevoegen op het 4e(?) tabblad - subtitels. Ik selecteerde nooit 'burn in' omdat je dan letterlijk het videobestand overschrijft met tekst.

Je krijgt geen .srt-bestand na het converteren maar ze zitten wel in het .mkv-bestand. Met een mediaspeler zoals VLC of Kodi kun je dan gewoon de ondertitels selecteren en aan- of uitzetten.
