[Vodafone Thuis] Can't get portforwarding to work on HG659

Hi guys.

I recently started using Vodafone Thuis (not optic fiber).

The problem is, no matter what I do it seems I can't get the HG659 modem/router to port forward.
I've tried simple forwarding, setting a DMZ, and setting the firewall to "low" (no option to turn it off), but none of that worked. Ideally I'd need to configure it in bridge mode, but it seems I don't have that option, and calling technical support proved useless.

Anyone here successfully portforward their Vodafone Thuis Huawei router?
Any idea how/if replacing their router/modem with a store-bought one would solve the issue?

Any suggestions?

Yes I did. In fact, I have a bunch of forwarding rules active, which basically forward all ports from 0 to 65535 except for a few that I'm not allowed to forward for some reason.

Why would you want to forward every incoming port? That would be a huge security risk and is not a smart thing to do.

What application of service would you like to forward?

First try to get a single port working to a static ip.

Sounds like, he wants to use his own router and wants the modem/ router to only act as a modem
