Startech M.2 NGFF SATA Dual + 2 x SM961 in Raid 0 op Sata 3

Ik heb een laptop zonder m.2 slot daar zit nu een ocz vertex 4 ssd in.
Nu zie ik dat Startech een M.2 dual convertor to sata 3 heeft.

Als ik daar nu 2 x Samsung SM961 128GB in zet met raid 0 zal ik dat dan echt merken ?

Deze combinatie van adapter en SSD's gaat niet eens werken, want er kunnen geen PCIe-SSD's aangesloten worden met deze adapter.

Dus? Als ik hier kijk, zijn dat allemaal PCI-E SSD's en dcm360 in "Startech M.2 NGFF SATA Dual + 2 x SM961 in Raid 0 op Sata 3" geeft aan dat dat niet kan.

Although M.2 SSDs come in similar form factors, only an M.2 SATA drive with an NGFF B key will operate with this device. M.2 drives that are PCIe or have a different key position are not compatible with this device.

This device can adapt an M.2 SATA drive to standard SATA connections, which is not possible for a PCIe based M.2 drive. The key type refers to the connector type on the M.2 SATA drive. B key can be M.2 PCIe x2 or SATA, so it is important that you check the specifications of the drive to see if it supports SATA.

Okay dan zit ik echt helemaal fout, dacht ergens zo'n combi buy gezien te hebben.

Daarop aangevuld kunnen dus enkel de SSD's uit de volgende lijst geplaatst worden in de adapter: categorie: Solid state drives
