It is my first post here, so hello everyone!
I hope it is fine if I write in English? Mijn Nederlands is heel slecht :(

At the company I work for we are considering buying a workstation for 3D work that would work well with Octane renderer. Octane uses GPU power to render, so the computer would ideally have multiple GPUs.

I am not yet sure what specification we would go for, but it seems that a recommended build on Octane forums seems to be an i7 CPU with lots of ram and most importantly, 3 or 4 GPU's (Geforce 1080 / Titan)

If I was buying this for myself I would do some reading, order parts in the cheapest place and put them together myself ;)

The company way would be to order a workstation from HP/Dell, but from what I see they don't really do multiple GPU's, and instead they put Xeon CPU's and Quadro GPU's, which will simply be much slower.

So I am looking for something in-between, could you recommend a company in NL that would build a computer for us according to the provided specification and offer a warranty?

Cheers!

Maar je begrijpt het wel toch? :)

Your last paragraphs sound weird; as a business I can buy much more expensive GPU's both from Dell and HP like the Nvidia GRID cards. Depending on the business-case I would/can assume a 20K CPU-array can been seen as "obsoletely expensive" yet they are available.

That said, one is supposed to have more complete topicstart; at least a shopping-list according to DAA beleid a budget and some information about what companies you have already contacted/researched.

What did your Dell-representative offer you? They also sell high-end GPU's like the 10x0 series in their Alienware-series so that card is present in their factories.
