Ik zit heb een conflictje met het bedrijf Wileyfox. Begin dit jaar kocht ik de Wileyfox Swift en dat was eigenlijk de gehele tijd dat ik hem gebruikt het een tegenvaller, maar dat doet er nu niet echt toe. Op een dag ging hij stuk. Één van de redenen dat ik voor dit toestel had gekozen was de 'gratis' reparatie-service van Wileyfox. Ik ben namelijk nogal onhandig en er gaat wel eens een schermpje kapot. Dus nam ik contact op met de (zeer trage) support met de vraag of deze gratis gerepareerd kon worden zoals in de voorwaarden stond op het moment van kopen. Waarop ik het antwoord kreeg:
Heb ik nou recht op gratis reparatie of zie ik iets over het hoofd?

Dus, ik geef netjes al mijn info en stuur het toestel op. Weken lang hoor ik niks van het bedrijf dus vorige week nam ik contact op met de support via chat. Hele e-mail nagelopen maar niks van ze ontvangen maar toch, ze willen dat ik ga betalen voor iets wat gratis zou moeten zijn. Dit is ook nog schriftelijk via mail en via telefoon bevestigd door hun support.I just been told by the repair centre that they sent you a quote ,and are awaiting response.
If you didn't received the quote please contact the repair centre.

I am sorry to hear that the screen on your handset has cracked, In relation to your question yes if you have registered the device with us then your handset will be covered under warranty and the screen replacement will be free.
If it is not covered by warranty then this may incur a charge for the repair, can you please in a corresponding email provide the following information.
Once we have this we can have the handset booked in to our service/repair centre for inspection.

Duss, ik stuur netjes mijn telefoon in originele verpakking met het formulier op naar hun adres maar krijg maar geen reactie. Dus begin ik te chatten met de geweldig professionele support *kuch*:

(02:54:15) tiffany webb: the warranty only covers the software it does not cover screen damage, there is a different warranty for hardware which can be purchased separately if you handset is not covered by this then the repair would not be free
(02:55:26) Huub: No but as I already told you, at the time of purchase this 'hardware warranty' was not available, screen repair would be if the device was registered.
