ik draai oracle817 op m'n suse70 doos en krijg de volgende melding:

het is een vxa-2010 melding, die ik overigens nergens in de docs terug vind...
iemand enig idee? als ik de status opvraag dan zie ik: unable to bind to Oracle Management Server....

Probeer het eens als root. Aan de meldingen te zien heeft dat ding problemen met het binden van het socket. strace doet ook wonderen in dit soort gevallen

Klinkt meer als het niet lekker werken van CORBA...

The CORBA NO_IMPLEMENT exception, which is thrown when the implementation for a method is not available. It contains a
minor code, which gives more detailed information about what caused the exception, and a completion status. It may also contain
a string describing the exception.

(geen idee hoe het te fixen btw)

als root dezelfde melding...en Corba heb ik nooit geïnstalleerd...

Gebruik je de JVM die bij OEM zat, of een andere?

Het lijkt er op dat of je install van Oracle niet goed is gegaan, of dat je je listner(of tnsnames file) verklooid hebt.

Probeer eens te kloten met je install.

Voor meer info, controleer http://technet.oracle.com, of plaats een TAR http://bij metalink.oracle.com (maar voor echte hulp heb je wel zo'n onderhoudsnummertje nodig!

ik gebruik m'n linuks bakkie als oracle leerstation en het heeft maandenlang lekker gedraaid...alles werkt ook nog: dbastudio, console enz... ik kan alleen m'n oem niet meer starten
