Dear Community,
I have been messing around with my Plex Client and Server for a while now but I did not manage to solve this specific problem I am experiencing, maybe u guys recognize this and can help me out or suggest an alternative.
My setup:
Plex Server Synology Server
Plex Client Android TV box with LolliPop 5.1 OS (Tronsmart R68 with Octa-Core RockChip)
Plex Client is connected to an AV Receiver which supports DD, DD+ and DTS-HD .
Plex Client settings are defined configuration:
Video:
Video quality over wifi original
Audio boost - no
Device supports Dolby digital, plus, & DTs - yes
Burn subtitles - automatic
Advanced - use android media player - yes
Advanced:
Direct stream - yes
Direct play - auto
H264 max - 5.1
Use external player - no
The issue:
When I turn on subtitles (mostly .SRT but other files like .SPG don't work either) in the Plex Client the movies shortens to 01:08:16 (Doesn't matter what kind of extension it has) see red markings in screenshot.

But when I turn the subtitles off the movies returns to its original length and I am not having any playback issues, see screenshot.

Notes:
- The main reason for using the 'android media player' is because my AV Receiver recognizes the DD, DD+ and DTS-HD sounds directly. (Android TV Box sound management is set to HDMI Bitstream)
- When I turn off DD, DD+ and DTS-HD and 'use android media player" in the client settings it work fine, but my AV Receiver doesn't recognize the DD, DD+ and DTS-HD that is played from the Plex Player.
- I did experiemt with other players on the android like MX Player but that has the same effect as playing it from the Plex Player
