Solution:
NOTE: Network Associates recommends that you remove the GroupShield Exchange Client extensions first, then remove the GroupShield Exchange server application.
To remove the GroupShield Exchange Client extensions from a workstation, follow these steps
NOTE: Click Start in the Windows taskbar, point to Settings, then choose Control Panel. Next, locate and double-click the Services control panel to open it.
Stop these services:
Network Associates GroupShield Exchange
Network Associates GroupShield On-Line Update
Network Associates Alert Manager
When you have finished, close the Services control panel.
Start the Windows registry editor, then locate and remove the following registry keys and values:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Uninstall\Network Associates GroupShield Exchange Client
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange\Client\Extensions \GroupShield Exchange Client Extensions
Start Windows Explorer, then locate and delete each of these files where they exist in the Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office directory:

SCAN.DAT
LICENSE.DAT
MESSAGES.DAT
NAMES.DAT
CLEAN.DAT
CLNTINST.EXE
MAPISCAN.DLL
MBSEXTN.DLL

Next, delete these files from the \WINDOWS directory:
EXGUTIL.DLL
EXCHANGE.DRV
Lastly, delete this file from the \WINDOWS\System directory
MSVCRT.DLL
To remove the GroupShield Exchange server application from your computer, follow these steps:
Start Exchange Administrator in Raw mode. To do so, open a Command-Line Prompt window, then type:
..\exchsrvr\bin\ADMIN.EXE /R
at the command prompt. When the Exchange Administrator application opens, follow these substeps:
Select the server from which you want to remove the application, then select Network Associates Anti-Virus. Next, choose Delete Raw Object from the Edit menu.
Move to the Add-ins directory, then delete the four Network Associates Add-ins installed there.
Select the Recipients container, then choose Raw Properties from the File menu.
Select Extension-Name-Inherited from the Object Attributes list.
Select DSAVUAdm from the Attribute Values list, then click Remove. Click OK to close the Recipients Properties panel.
Select the Network Associates recipient container, then choose Delete Raw Object from the Edit menu.
If there are third party or custom forms in the forms library, do not delete the form.
If no custom forms exist, choose Forms Administrator from the Tools menu. In the dialog box that appears, select the folder named "Organisation(809) English(UK)" or "Organisation(409) English(USA)" then click Remove.
Start the Exchange mail client, then delete the Quarantine Folder.
Click Start in the Windows taskbar, point to Settings, then choose Control Panel. Next, locate and double-click the Services control panel to open it.
Stop these services:
Network Associates GroupShield Exchange
Network Associates GroupShield On-Line Update
Network Associates Alert Manager
When you have finished, close the Services control panel.
Start the Windows registry editor, then locate and remove the following registry keys:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AVUPDService
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\AlertManager
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\McAfee\AlertManager (Do not remove this key if you installed a version of Alert Manager with other Network Associates software)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Associates\GroupShield Exchange
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Uninstall\Network Associates GroupShield Components
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Uninstall\Network Associates GroupShield Exchange
Remove the following two registry keys if you removed the Alert Manager key earlier:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\McAfee\McALSNMP
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SNMP\Parameters\Extension Agents.
Start Windows NT Explorer, then locate and delete each of these folders, and their contents:
C:\Program Files\Network Associates\GroupShield Exchange
C:\Exchsrvr\Addins\DSAVUAdm
