Elsa Gladiac 920 probleem!!!

Ik heb nu een Elsa Gladiac 920 (Geforce3) gekocht, maar nu blijkt dit nog een A3 stepping te zijn met FastWrite disabled, iemand die weet hoe ik dit aan kan zetten...
Anders probeer ik deze kaart te ruillen voor een nieuwer exemplaar.

Gewoon geluik ruilen. Je hebt er toch niet voor niks meer dan duizend piek voor betaald! Kan je hem ook veel hoger clocken.

Hoe heb je gezien dat het een A3 is, heb je op de core gekeken of heb je het via powerstrip gezie, je moet namelijk de 2 laatste builds hebben, anders geeft het proggie het verkeerd weer.

The ASIC revision level on shipping GF3 cards seems to be the subject of considerable confusion, so this is to clarify how EnTech software handles this. ASIC revision is typically determined by software by reading PCI configuration register 0x08 [7:0], and this reads out as 0xA3 with both the A3 and the A5 GF3 steppings. However, it is possible to read the revision directly from the ASIC itself, rather than from PCI configuration space and because of the A5 issue, this is exactly what PowerStrip 3.0 now does with NVidia chips. The reason software like PCIList doesn't usually do this is quite simple: it would require knowledge of and discrete routines for every chip one wanted to support, and under normal circumstances it is completely unnecessary to do something like that.

In short, the NVidia GeForce3 A5-revision ASIC reads out as 0xA3 in PCI configuration space, and will be reported as such by software like PowerStrip 2.78 and PCIlist. But the A5-revision ASIC reads out as 0xA5 in NV configuration space, which is what PowerStrip 3.0 reports. There are no software "errors" or "hacks" involved in either case. If still in doubt, you can check the "ChipID" value that the Detonator driver itself writes to the registry, or remove the heatsink and examine the markings on the chip itself

Als het goed is zou er eigenlijk nooit een A3 stepping zijn verkocht. Ik denk dat je je vergist in de A3 stepping.

Was het niet Elsa die de release van hun kaart uit hadden gesteld zodat ze iig alleen maar A5 stepping kaarten zouden leveren ( = gegarandeerd A5 dus) .. of ben ik in de war met een ander merk.
