X8 AC1750 problem with D-Link DNS-320L

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I have upgraded my X8 AC1750 to the latest firmware (from January 2016, WLR-8100v1001-firmware-v26) and something happened:

1. After upgrade and reboot I got ZERO internet, although there was a WIFI connection;
2. I have turned OFF everything that was connected to the router - the modem, tv, sharecenter, etc - and disconnected the wifi from every phone;
3. After reboot it started working;
4. This morning I realized I didn't had turned on my D-Link Sharecenter DNS-320L;
5. When I did it, internet was gone and although I had the Wifi as "connected", I coulnd't logon into the router;
6. After a lot of troubleshooting, including a factory reset on my Sharecenter, I realised it has to be a problem with the router;

I need help on this as I've tried a lot of stuff and nothing seems to work. Please answer in english, as I google is terrible translating dutch :)

Hi,

It's a pitty that nobody was able to help me until now. Meanwhile I was busy troubleshooting the issue and it is definitely an issue with the Router.

1. I have given a static ip to my laptop and another one to my DNS to check if there would be any confict on the router. Didn't changed

2. I have downgraded the Firmware to version 2.1 (19 February 2015) and everything is working again. Therefore, there has to be something with Firmware version 2.4 as the problem starts there and it wasn't solved with version 2.6.

Any help would be appreciated. Would love to hear from Sitecom developers.

This is a dutch pc forum so you probably can't find a sitecom developer on this forum.

Why don't you just keep using firmware 2
4, if that doesn't give you any problems?
