Hey guys!

So yesterday i have bought myself a pair of the Sennheiser HD205. I read great reviews online about the sound quality. Especially on how '"Bass heavy'' it was. Which some people might find annoying but this does satisfy my personal taste very much. But what turned out, when i plugged them in and tried to listen to some music there was absolutely NO bass at all! Has anyone else ever had or seen a similar problem?
Im not sure if they are just broken and i should take them back or if there is something i can do myself.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this.

Kind regards, Thomas!

So what do your friends say when you have them listening to the headphone? Also no bass? Can you get in touch with your supplier about this issue?

But you should have listened it before you bought it.

The HD205 is not too bass heavy but it should at least have some bass.. Here is the frequency response of HD205 (blue) compared to a popular in ear (red). The HD205 has way less bass than the in ear, maybe you are used too much bass and perceive the more neutral response as a lack of bass?

With 32 ohms the impedance of the HD205 is quite low. Not all sources can handle this. What source are you using?
