Zoeken op geo locatie?

Ik weet niet zeker of deze post hier thuis hoort, maar het is gerelateerd aan Scial Media.

Ik zag vanmiddag iemand een selfie maken met mijn auto, en ik zou deze graag terug willen vinden, ik schat de kans redelijk in dat hij ook daadwerkelijk gepost is geworden... Maar ik heb natuurlijk geen flauw idee door wie...

Is het mogelijk om op Facebook/Instagram/Twitter.... te zoeken naar (publieke) posts op basis van geo locatie? Ik begrijp natuurlijk dat de foto publiek moet zijn, uberhaupt geotagged moet zijn etc. Maar het is een poging waard

er zijn gewoon teveel variabelen die exact juist moeten zijn om te vinden wat je zoekt via geotag, zoals dat de post publiek moet zijn, de foto getagged moet zijn, de poster toestemming heeft gegeven deze data te laten zien (is een instelling op fb) en nog tal van puzzelstukjes die goed moeten vallen.

Vandaar dat ik denk dat je meer kans maakt met google soortgelijke foto zoeken. maak zelf ook zo'n ongeveer gelijke selfie als het moet, ga naar google image search klik op het cameratje in de zoekbalk en upload je eigen foto. Nadeel hiervan is wel dat alsnog de foto en dus het profiel openbaar moet zijn. En het kan even duren voor google alle foto's heeft geindexeerd, maar dat gaat redelijk snel.

Ik gaf in mijn eigen post idd ook al aan dat het van verschillende factoren afhangt of ik hem uberhaupt wel vind. De kans schat ik zelf ook wel klein in, maar zoals ik al zei, het proberen waard...

Ik zal eens kijken of jouw approach iets opleverd...
