Hey everyone,

I'm mainly using my PC for 3D and compositing software.
My current system is based on a server type of setup, which is very noisy. I have 2 E5-2620 v2 processors on a Supermicro motherboard with a lot of small fans and a raid system with 6 drives.
I'd like to make an upgrade, main purpose is to reduce the noise and to make this system as quiet as possible. I'm also planing to replace the motherboard as well. I decided to go for the:
motherboard ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS
case HAF X
CPU coolers - 2 x Noctua NH-U12S SSO2
not sure which power supply I should choose.

What do you think for my choices and do you have any suggestions on how to make this system as quiet as possible? Is it possible to let the software control fan speed based on the cpu and gpu temperature?

Can you recommend a specialist in Amsterdam, who could help with this upgrade?

Any advise is appreciated.

P.

Hi Pavel,

Welcome to Gathering of Tweakers :)

Unfortunately this is a Dutch-language forum. We're happy to help with any problems, but do ask that you read various guides and instructions first. That's rather tricky if you can't read them. So our policy is that posts should be in Dutch only. I'm afraid that means I'll have to close this topic.

For Engilish-language help I'd recommend the following forums:

Plus for specifics on quiet computing:
