[Win10] Geen reactie op inpluggen usb-joystick

Hallo Tweakers,

Vandaag kreeg ik mijn nieuwe joystick binnen (Thrustmaster HOTAS X), maar ik heb wat problemen om deze aan de praat te krijgen. Windows geeft geen enkel teken dat het de joystick ziet. Het volgende heb ik reeds geprobeerd:
- Meerdere keren PC opnieuw opgestart
- Meerdere keren opnieuw ingeplugged
- Drivers van de joystick geinstalleerd
- Drivers van de USB poorten geupdate (Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3)
- Gewisseld tussen de PC en PS3 instellingen op het apparaat
- Apparaat op elke USB poort van de pc getest

Het apparaat heeft een lampje om een bepaalde modus aan te duiden, deze brand wel wanneer het apparaat is ingeplugged.
Eenmaal heb ik kortstondig wel contact gehad, dit was nadat ik de joystick op PS3 modus had gezet, ingeplugged, PC ziet het apparaat wel (als PS3 device), unplugged, PC modus aangezet, ingeplugged, PC ziet apparaat als PC-device. Dit duurde ongeveer een minuut, In de tussentijd was ik in het eigenschappen-scherm de verschillende knoppen aan het testen toen de verbinding weer verloren ging. Sindsdien is er geen teken van leven meer geweest (op het lampje op het apparaat na).

Is er iemand die enig idee heeft hoe ik dit kan verhelpen? Alvast bedankt!

Helemaal niets. Er staat niets dat ik kan herkennen als bij de joystick horend en er veranderd ook niets bij het in/uitpluggen.

Create a folder for all your Thrustmaster downloads: right-click the Windows desktop, then point to New/Folder.

- Name the folder Thrustmaster Downloads.

- Click the download link.

- A File Download dialog box appears. Click Save.

- A Save As dialog box appears. Select the Thrustmaster Downloads folder you have created and then click Save.


Installation:

1- Uninstall the previous driver version.

2- Double-click the installation file (2015_FFD_1.exe) to proceed with the installation.

3- Follow the instructions displayed onscreen.

4- When done, select:

- Start/All Apps/Thrustmaster/Control Panel. (Windows 10/ 8.1 /8)


- Start/All Programs/Thrustmaster/Force Feedback Driver/Control Panel. (Windows 7/ Vista/ XP)

Your accessory should appears onscreen with the status indication OK

5- In the Control Panel, click Properties to configure your device:

Test Input: Enables you to test and configure the buttons, the D-Pad and axes.

Test Force Feedback Enables you to test 8 force effects (for Force Feedback or Rumble Force devices only).

Click on OK to save your settings and exit the Control Panel.

For optimal sensations:

* Force Feedback adjustment bar: “Aggressiveness”.
• Decrease the % to decrease the strength of effects.
• Increase the % to increase the strength of effects as well as re-centering on your wheel.
• Decrease or increase the % to modify the vibration strength on your gamepad.

* For “Force Feedback Racing Wheels”
• Use the “Wheel Force Effects” configuration in games.
• In most games: invert forces or apply a negative force coefficient.

* For “Gamepads” or “Vibration Racing Wheels”
• Use the “Gamepad Force Effects” configuration in games.
• In most games: invert forces or apply a negative force coefficient.

Zeker. Alleen op het punt ' Your accessory should appears onscreen with the status indication OK' loopt het vast, aangezien er geen apparaat in de lijst staat.

Geen anti virus die op de achtergrond dwars zit ?

Nope, helemaal niets (met zowel anti-virus als firewall uitgeschakeld geprobeerd)

Tsja, Thrustmaster is ook wel een beetje budget merk en volgens mij heb je nu wel alle standaard check doorlopen, dus neig om te zeggen dat deze defect is, aangezien andere gebruikers met Windows 10 zo te lezen op internet deze wel kan gebruiken

Het lijkt er op, op Windows 7 krijg ik hem ook niet werkend. Even afwachten wat Thrustmaster er zelf over te zeggen heeft en anders wordt het een RMA. In ieder geval bedankt voor het meedenken!
