Omdat ik op het nieuws hoorde dat het vandaag in China singles day oid is en dat Alibaba hierdoor enorme kortingen had ben ik eens op de site gaan kijken.
De kortingen kon ik niet vinden maar wel dat ze een kort lopende actie hebben van 11 november tot 17 november om gratis samples aan te vragen.
Hier stonden mijn oren wel naar en wou eigenlijk wat dingen proberen te 'besampelen' maar ik vroeg mij af of er een addertje onder het gras zit. Waarom geven ze dit weg? (hoewel je moet natuurlijk maar mazzel hebben of ze je überhaupt selecteren) Maar zijn er mensen die hier ervaring mee hebben?

Bij het aanvragen staat er:Alibaba.com Free Sample Promotion (“Promotion”) – General Terms & Conditions (the “Official Rules”)
1. Promoter: Alibaba.com Singapore E-Commerce Private Limited, a company incorporated in Singapore with a registered office address at 10 Collyer Quay # 10-01, Ocean Financial Centre, Singapore 049315 (the “Promoter”).
2. Promotion Period: The promotion begins November 11, 2015 at 00:00:00 AM PST and ends November 17, 2015 at 11:59:59 PM PST (the “Promotion Period”).
3. Eligibility: Registered members of the Alibaba.com. Entry to this Promotion is free. Employees, officers and directors of the Promoter and their respective immediate family members, affiliated and subsidiary companies, any company involved in the Contest, together with their agents are not eligible to enter.
4. Terms and Conditions:
a) During the Promotion Period, registered members of the Alibaba.com may receive free samples from participating suppliers. To receive free samples, you must submit an application to the participating supplier by providing your company name, address and contact details to the participating supplier (“Application”). If your Application is successful, the participating supplier will contact you to arrange shipment of the free sample(s).
b) Applications will be evaluated by the participating supplier within ten (10) working days of submission. Participating suppliers have the sole discretion to approve or reject an Application. Free sample selection, issuance and/or distribution is determined at the sole discretion of the participating supplier. Alibaba.com is not involved in the evaluation process.
c) Each member may receive a maximum of one (1) free sample from each participating product.
d) There is no limit on the number of Applications a member may submit to participating suppliers.
e) Applications with false and/or inaccurate information will not be accepted.
f ) Participating suppliers will determine the shipping method and bear the shipping costs of the free sample.
g) Sample requests (such as color, size, material etc.) will not be supported.
h) No refund, exchange or issuance of an invoice will be available for free samples.
5. Disputes: The participant acknowledges and agrees that the Promoter or any of its affiliates shall not be responsible, and shall have no liability to it or anyone else for any dispute or claim that arises out of the participant’s participation in the Promotion.
6. General Rules: By participating in the Promotion, the participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or undeliverable entries, responses, or other correspondence, whether by e-mail or otherwise. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel, modify or suspend the Official Rules or the Promotion in whole or in part, without liability to the participant. The amended and restated Official Rules shall be effective immediately upon posting on the Alibaba.com website. After posting of the amended and restated Official Rules, the participant’s continued participation in the Promotion shall be deemed to be its acceptance of the amended and restated Official Rules. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant in its sole discretion.
7. Governing Law: You agree that this promotion is governed, interpreted and enforced by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all legal actions, claims or proceedings arising out of, or in connection with this promotion must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Hong Kong.
8. Disclaimer: To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the Promoter be liable to any participant for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages (including loss of use, data, business or profits) arising out of or in connection with the participant’s participation in the Promotion, whether such liability arises from any claim based upon contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not Promoter has been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.
