De volgende cd-branders zijn in staat om safedisk2 beveiligde cd's 1:1 te kopieren. Er zijn ook versies van safedisk2 die wat zwakker zijn (No one lives forever) en die door elke RAW-DAO brander te fikken zijn. Ik heb het hier dus over de ECHTE safedisk2 titels zoals Red alert 2 en Black & White. Als je meent een brander te hebben die hier niet tussenstaat en toch safedisk2 kan branden meld dat dan hier a.u.b. (liefst met de info: welke titel, welk brand-programma en welke brander met welke firmwareversie en TLA-nummer (voor o.a. Plextor)

The new IDE champions are the Liteon 24102B, and the 12102B,(12/10/40)and the new Plextor 2410A.They can read and write all protections.They do correct Efm encoding(as reported by Master).NOTE:Only these models of Liteon do correct efm encoding.The other Liteons DO NOT write SD2 properly!!!

Note:The Plextor 2410A is released.It is reported to read and write all protections,and do correct Efm encoding,**confirmed**

Only three SCSI writers can read and write the protections but are out of production now.They are (scsi) Plextors,The 8/20, and the 8/2/20,(if TLA=01xx),and the Imation 8/20 (rebadged Plex)..CAUTION:some of the pre-march '99 8/20's don't work.It is best to test before you buy these three writers.

The Acer 1208A and the 1832A and the 1210A,and 1610A,and 2010A, are able to write all protections with the new Clone Cd versions.You will need a reader to use with these writers because they cannot read subchannel data.

IMPORTANT:All Philips and rebadged Philips writers can read and write Safedisc and Safedisc 2.Many people experience slow read times.They cannot READ subchannel data needed for Securom and Securom2,protected Psx ,etc.MOST of them are fussy about the media you use.For best results use the recommended media or you may have coasters at worst, or slow write speeds due to media.Most of these writers CANNOT write CD&G (karaoke),CD-TEXT, or protected Psx.BUYER BEWARE:Many people are not satisfied with these writers after a purchase.Make sure you can return them for a refund or exchange (check this for any writer purchase.)
